rainbowjehan. Warning for... uh, crackpairing and fangirl Greek?
She has hair like firelit copper, eyes like bronze. She moves carelessly among the kourai khryseai, their height to a finger's width, with the same stiff grace; but her skin flushes with the heat, and her voice is rough, supple, living. Daily she gains strength, and Hephaistos watches her with keen, quiet pleasure.
More than once he sees her in the shadows, watching him work with fierce, eager eyes -- and what woman, mortal or immortal, has ever done that?
When he touches her hair she does not flinch, and for the first time in his memory he smiles easily.
